The file called 'RealVR Traveler Plugin' is the actual Netscape plugin file.
To install the RealVR Traveler, you need to move this file to your
Netscape plugins folder. The third file, 'NetManage Winsock Lib', must be dragged onto
the System folder, and your Mac should automatically place it in the Extensions folder.
Once this is done, just quit and restart Netscape, and you're
ready to go. A good place to start with lots of RealVR samples is the RealSpace web site at:
http://www.rlspace.com.
There are also some keyboard controls. Pressing the shift or control key will zoom your view in and out. Pressing one of the arrow keys will rotate your view in that direction. Finally, holding down the spacebar will highlight hot spots in the scene so that you can know where you are free to click.

REALSPACE, INC. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
PLEASE READ THIS SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT") CAREFULLY BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE SOFTWARE. BY CLICKING ON THE "ACCEPT" BUTTON BELOW, YOU INDICATE YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS OF THIS LEGAL AND BINDING AGREEMENT AND ARE CONSENTING TO BE BOUND BY AND ARE BECOMING A PARTY TO THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, CLICK THE "DO NOT ACCEPT" BUTTON AND THE INSTALLATION PROCESS WILL NOT CONTINUE.
1. License. The object code form of the software provided with this Agreement whether stored on disk, in read only memory, or on any other media, and all supporting documentation, if any (the "Software") are licensed, not sold, to you by RealSpace, Inc. ("RealSpace") and are available for use only under the terms of this Agreement. The term "Software" does not refer to source code, and no license is granted with respect to source code. REALSPACE WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS SOFTWARE AND WILL NOT ISSUE UPDATES TO THIS SOFTWARE. RealSpace grants to you (either as an individual or an entity) a nonexclusive license to install and use the Software on a single computer. You agree you will not distribute copies of the Software. You may make only one (1) additional copy of the Software for backup purposes only. You agree that the back-up copy must retain all RealSpace notices contained on the original.
2. No Reverse Engineering and Other Restrictions. You agree that you will not attempt, and if you are a corporation, you will use your best efforts to prevent your employees and contractors from attempting, to reverse engineer, reverse compile, disassemble, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works, rent, lease, loan, distribute, transmit over a network or sublicense the Software, in whole or in part.
3. Proprietary Rights. All title in and intellectual property rights related to the Software are owned by and retained by RealSpace and/or its licensors, and its structure, organization and underlying source code are the valuable trade secrets of RealSpace and/or its licensors. You acknowledge that no title to the intellectual property in the Software is transferred to you and you will not acquire any rights to the Software except for the license as expressly set forth herein. RealSpace reserves all rights not expressly granted hereunder. All content accessed through the Software is the property of the applicable content owner and may be protected by applicable copyright law. This Agreement gives you no rights to such content.
4. Disclaimer of Warranty. REALSPACE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY OF THIS SOFTWARE OR ABOUT ANY CONTENT OR INFORMATION MADE ACCESSIBLE BY THE SOFTWARE, FOR ANY PURPOSE. THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED TO YOU ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND REALSPACE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. REALSPACE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED. FURTHERMORE, REALSPACE DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR RELATED DOCUMENTATION IN TERMS OF CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY REALSPACE OR A REALSPACE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitations on how long an implied warranty may last, so the above limitations may not apply to you. To the extent permissible, any implied warranties are limited to ninety (90) days. You may have legal rights which vary from state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
5. Limitation of Liability. THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED GRATUITOUSLY AND, ACCORDINGLY, REALSPACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY THEORY FOR ANY DAMAGES SUFFERED BY YOU OR ANY USER OF THE SOFTWARE INCLUDING ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST SAVINGS, EVEN IF REALSPACE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY. THIS LIMITATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS OF PERSONAL INJURY TO THE EXTENT APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS SUCH LIMITATION. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, consequential or special damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.
6. Transfer. You may not sell, license, assign or otherwise transfer your rights under this Agreement without the prior written consent of RealSpace. If written permission to transfer the Software is granted to you by RealSpace, you may transfer the downloaded and back-up copy of the Software to such authorized third party, provided that: (i)†the third party receives a copy of this Agreement and agrees in writing to be bound by its terms and conditions, (ii) you erase or destroy all other copies of the Software, and (iii) you at all times comply with all applicable United States export control laws and regulations.
7. Termination. The term of this Agreement will be for the duration of RealSpace's copyright in the Software. This Agreement may be terminated immediately without notice by RealSpace if you breach or fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Upon termination, you shall immediately remove and destroy all copies of the Software or any part thereof. Upon RealSpace's request, you will certify to RealSpace that all complete and partial copies of the Software have been destroyed. The provisions of this Agreement, other than the license grant contained in Section 1 ("License") and transfer requirements in Section 6 ("Transfer"), shall survive termination.
8. New Releases and Maintenance. RealSpace is not responsible for the provision of any direct support, maintenance, or the provision of new releases, enhancements, or updates of the Software.
9. Export Law Assurances. You understand that the Software is subject to export control laws and regulations. YOU MAY NOT DOWNLOAD OR OTHERWISE EXPORT OR RE-EXPORT THE SOFTWARE OR ANY UNDERLYING INFORMATION OR TECHNOLOGY EXCEPT IN FULL COMPLIANCE WITH ALL UNITED STATES AND OTHER APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. IN PARTICULAR, BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION, NONE OF THE SOFTWARE OR UNDERLYING INFORMATION OR TECHNOLOGY MAY BE DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE EXPORTED OR RE-EXPORTED (i) INTO (OR TO A NATIONAL OR RESIDENT OF) CUBA, IRAQ, LIBYA, NORTH KOREA, IRAN OR SYRIA OR (ii) TO ANYONE ON THE U.S. TREASURY DEPARTMENT'S LIST OF SPECIALLY DESIGNATED NATIONALS OR THE U.S. COMMERCE DEPARTMENT'S TABLE OF DENIAL ORDERS. BY DOWNLOADING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE FOREGOING AND YOU ARE REPRESENTING AND WARRANTING THAT YOU ARE NOT LOCATED IN, UNDER CONTROL OF, OR A NATIONAL OR RESIDENT OF ANY SUCH COUNTRY OR ON ANY SUCH LIST.
10. U.S. Government Restricted Rights. If this Software is being acquired by the U.S. Government, the Software and related documentation is commercial computer software and documentation developed exclusively at private expense, and (a) if acquired by or on behalf of a civilian agency, shall be subject to the terms of this computer software license as specified in 48 C.F.R. 12.212 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and its successors; and (b) if acquired by or on behalf of units of the Department of Defense ("DoD") shall be subject to the terms of this commercial computer software license as specified in 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-2, DoD FAR Supplement and its successors.
11. Tax Liability. You are responsible for paying any sales or use tax imposed at any time whatsoever on this transaction.
12. General. This Agreement embraces the full and complete understanding of the parties as to the subject matter hereof and may not be altered or modified, except by written amendment which expressly refers to this Agreement and which is duly executed by both parties. Further, this Agreement shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, excluding the application of its conflicts of law rules. This Agreement will not be governed by the United Nations Convention on the Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If any part of this Agreement is found void and unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms.
You acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
